Using the IBD/IB needle each user can ensure no needle will be found in the steak of anybody’s meal. In case the needle breaks during high force injection the special designed block will prevent the cannula to further penetrate into the animals’ body. The needle can be removed before causing any further damage. Furthermore, in order to provide double protection, the IBD cannula can be found via a metal detector at the slaughter house.
